Your First Visit
You do not need a referral to use our services. When you visit us for the first time, our
primary concern is to see if we can help you. We will determine if you have vertebral subluxation (nerve
interference) creating interference with your body’s ability to function at 100%, and how best to address that
problem.
When you arrive for your initial visit you will first be asked to provide us with some
information about your health history and the nature of your complaint or the reason for your visit. We ask you to
fill out the minimal amount of paperwork possible. After you complete
this, the doctor will spend some time talking with you so that he will better understand your condition and be
fully aware of any other health concerns you may have and determine how chiropractic may be beneficial to you.
If you are considering a visit and would like to fill out some of the paperwork before your visit, please call
us for an appointment and then click here to fill out the forms.
Once Dr. Robichaud feels that he has a complete understanding of the history and nature of your
complaint, he will perform a thorough chiropractic examination to help evaluate your condition and check for spinal
subluxation. After the examination, Dr. Robichaud will explain the diagnosis and will discuss whether he feels
chiropractic care is appropriate for you or not. At this point a decision will be made by the doctor as to whether
x-rays of your spine are required prior to you undertaking care.
Most first time patients are x-rayed on their first visit. A brief report of x-ray
findings is given the following day, after the doctor has had the opportunity to examine the x-rays bone by bone.
At your report of findings the doctor will explain where he has found vertebral subluxations (nerve pressure areas)
in your spine, whether you have spinal alignment challenges, and how serious your situation is. A plan of care
will then be outlined for you based on your individual needs and the stresses that you encounter in your everyday
life.
The types of services that we provide include spinal x-rays, specific chiropractic adjustments,
manual traction, and therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation.
In our experience, most patients will notice a significant improvement after two or three weeks
of care. If little or no improvement is seen within that time frame, we will reassess your condition. Care plans
are given based on an individual basis.
Insurance and Payment Information
Many insurance providers have coverage and benefits which feature chiropractic. Most
insurance companies or employers will provide you with a form to submit, along with an official receipt from our
office, for payment of services.
Let us know if you have Blue Cross and Green
Shield. We will provide a form, signed by the doctor, that you must submit along with
your receipt.
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs
can be arranged.
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit card, cash or personal check.
